I would like to inquire about my Starlink Business account. I can't access it, cannot manage users, and it seems open to everyone.
Ensure you are logging in with the administrative email address used when the account was created. Visit the Starlink Customer Portal: https://www.starlink.com → Sign In. If user management options are missing or you see unauthorised access: Reset your portal password. Contact Starlink Support through the portal or app to have them verify your account and restrict access.
How many meters does Starlink cover from the source point?
Starlink does not have a fixed "coverage radius" like Wi-Fi. The satellite link covers your entire registered service area. Your Wi-Fi router connected to the dish typically covers 30–50 meters indoors and more with mesh routers.
How can we change our password?
Open the Starlink app → Settings → Wi-Fi Configuration. Enter a new Network Name (SSID) and Password → Save. Devices will need to reconnect with the new credentials.
How can I recharge using EcoCash, and how can I check my balance?
Starlink payments are done using EcoCash on https://shop.telone.co.zw/self-service. Once on the digital shop, click Self Service > Starlink > Enter TelOne Account, Starlink Link Kit Number, Company Name, Mobile Number, Email Address and select Product > Click Pay Starlink Bill.
How can we log in to the Starlink portal?
Visit https://www.starlink.telone.co.zw → Sign In. Enter your registered email and password.
What are the requirements when applying for a business plan?
Only your name, address and subscription are needed to get connected. No proof of residence required.
Do I need a technician to install Starlink?
Installation is provided with an additional fee for transit depending on how far your location is from the nearest TelOne shop.
Am I able to switch from roaming? What is required?
Yes. Log into your portal and: Change your service address to a fixed location. Confirm the new plan details (roaming vs residential/business). Some regions may require you to contact support for activation in the new zone.
Is there a data cap on Starlink?
Starlink Business plans often have priority data allowances (e.g., 1 TB or more). After using the priority data, speeds may be deprioritised but not cut off. Check your plan details in your portal for specific caps.
How fast is Starlink internet?
Speeds vary by location and network load: Business option often has speeds ranging from 150–350 Mbps download with better upload and latency.
How many users can be connected to my Starlink network?
Starlink itself doesn't limit user count, but your router and bandwidth do: A standard router can handle 20–40 devices comfortably. For larger teams, use a mesh Wi-Fi system or business-grade router.
Can I move my Starlink dish to another location?
Yes, but you must pay service transfer and installation fees.
